Vanilla, Saffron Imports is based in San Francisco, California. We are direct importers of saffron and vanilla beans.
From the very start of our business, our main passion and interest was to deliver the highest quality saffron and vanilla to our customers. We made this passion our tagline "Our Reputation is Quality". This simple tagline symbolizes our philosophy to this day - satisfied customers through the highest quality products and an honest, straightforward business/customer relationship.

Without a doubt we sell the best saffron in the United States. We do this by demanding from the saffron cooperative in Afghanistan that our Sargol Saffron meets our strict specifications which are:
• ISO standard 3632 for Category 1 Saffron (190 minimum) • Our coloring strength must be minimum 230 to 250 + • Our saffron threads are 3/8" to 1/2" in length. We only use the part of the stigma that has saffron. As a result, our saffron is free of any impurities.
As for our vanilla beans, we buy them directly from the field, thus assuring excellent quality and price. Most of our vanilla extract comes from our own vanilla beans. All of our extracts are processed in California
